I’ve moved. Again. In January 2025, my husband and I moved from Delhi-NCR to Goa. We had lived in the house we built in 2004 for 20 years. It was a big move, but we managed it well with some planning and help from professional packers and movers, along with family and friends.

I’ve moved 26 times, living in homes in India, the US and Italy. For me, moving brings both excitement and trepidation. Excitement because it’s a new place and an opportunity to recreate my environment. Trepidation because of the work involved in moving, resettling and infrastructure challenges.
